A Hidden Paradise: "Paguriran Island"

It was only one night when me and my travel buddy Karl
decided to have a blast the day after our birthday. No celebration happened on our special day instead we went and explore a wonderful island situated in Bacon, Sorsogon City, Sorsogon.
We left our hometown and meet in Daraga having only my phone where I saved a page from the net for us to reach our destination.
I already read different blogs featuring the Paguriran Island and I was very interested about it. It has a white fine sand. What I like the most of the island is, it has a unique formation having a body of water at the center of it.

From Daraga, we went to the van terminal bound to Sorsogon City. At first, we chose to ride on a bus going to Sorsogon because fare will be cheaper if you choose to ride via bus. But we left the bus because the travel time will be longer. We cross the street and there was the terminal.
It was a 2hrs trip and I can say that it was a comfortable and relax journey because the road was fine. No humps, no traffic haha. Definitely, no traffic because you are in a province :D
The fare was 85 pesos. The van will drop you off at exactly on their terminal also near Save More. We went inside the supermarket to buy some food and we asked someone where was the jeepney terminal bound to Paguriran Island and luckily it was only near Save More. We rode on the jeep enroute to Bacon, Sorsogon  :)
From the city, we travelled for about 45 minutes to reach the island and fare was 24 pesos.

After a long trip, we were amazed of what we saw. We were very excited of exploring the island. It was a few walk from the main road to the resort where you have to stay and rent an open cottage for 100 pesos. No entrace fee was collected from us but only on the usage of the cottage.

It was low tide then when we arrived that's why we didn't have the chance to swim so we just explore the island and be mesmerized by its natural beauty.

View of the island from the shore.
He's my travel buddy. So gwapo isn't he? And I'm so haggard at the shot. Haha

Shot form one of the islets.

Fine white sand of the beach.

Ooops, the guy beside me is a good friend of ours working in Sorsogon. He just dropped by  because he was on his work haha. Ditching his duty just to saw the place :D

Body of water situated inside the island where you can swim.

Super duper clear water.

The Trio lol.

Mangrove trees to be preserved hopefully :)

Stone formations on the island.

High tide approaching :)

Kids playing on the fine sand.

A sweet couple who've waited for the high tide.

Unfortunately we didn't had the chance to enjoy to swim when the high tide appproached. Because we have to left and catch the last trip bound to the City proper and the last trip also bound to Daraga.
It was an unplanned journey but we loved unplanned scenarios haha.
Hoping to be back again on these wonderful creation of HIM and had our overnight to catch up the sunrise and sunset.
